Find good at least 2 good tanks for your raid. If they have a dual spec is even better since they can switch their role in the raid depending on the encounter. To be sure you have good tanks in your raid, you can look them a few days before you assemble the raid.
Every player must know their character, their rotations and have raiding experience for the instance you’re about to do. To get the experienced ones check their achievements, gear and specs.
Make sure that everyone is buffed have their flasks up. If not, you should have 6-7 of each flasks to sell to the players that don’t have (don’t worry, they will pay double price).

Use each and every cooldown at the right time and on the right spot. Some cooldowns, like the Bloodlust or Heroism, are very important for most of the encounters in the game, so use them wisely.
Have the raiding addons specific to your class uploaded and updated. Usually, Deadly Boss Mods, Recount or Grid are indispensable addons for raiding so you might want to have them installed if you don’t have them.
