Horde Leveling Guide – 3 Instances To Level Up Your Toon
By Mark Fulke | March 10, 2010
Whenever I roll a new Horde character I follow the quest path of a Horde leveling guide, because questing is not a bad way to level up, especially if you play solo. However, many players prefer to level their toons in various instances of the game, depending on their level. Therefore, I’m g
1. Ragefire Chasm or RFC as the players abbreviate it is an instance found at the Cleft of Shadows in Orgrimmar. It’s a great place to boost up a toon especially if you want level 19 twink. There are several quests to be completed inside this instance and here are a few of them: “Slaying the Beast”, “Returning the Lost Satchel” and “Testing an Enemy’s Strength”.
2. A very good spot to boost your character from 60 up to 64-65 is the Blood Furnace, found at the Hellfire Citadel in the middle of Hellfire Peninsula. Full of orcs and fell orcs, and also demons, this instance will provide you great XP at the beginner levels of Burning Crusade part of the game. Here are some quests in Blood Furnace: “Heart of Rage”, “The Blood is Life” and “Keli’dan’s Feathered Stave”.
3. Utgarde Keep. This instance is located in the middle on the shores of Lake Cauldros, in the middle of Howling Fjord. The mobs inside are all levels 66-67, humanoids and drakes. Only 3 boss encounters in this instance but they are all easy and having a good tank will pass you through the levels here, like cutting through butter. Here are some quests inside Utgarde Keep: “Disarmament”, “Ingvar Must Die!” and “Score to Settle”.
A good thing to know either if you like questing, leveling in BGs or you have friends to boost you inside instances, professions are very important in WoW. So, while you raise a character, do not neglect your professions. This leveling guide for Horde has taught me that any profession will turn into a gold mine after you maximize it, so try to level at least one as you level up your toon.
As a conclusion, although instance leveling is a great way to take a WoW character to the level cap, questing is much better, in my opinion. This Horde leveling guide has provided me with a nicely made questing path, and also an in-game MOD that alows me to connect it to the game interface.
